Our zine aims to gather all DC and DCU fans alike to create a beautiful love letter to Superman!
This Zine is for charity, its goal is to feed the people of Gaza.
All profits are going to be sent directly to Hot Meals for Gaza.

Absolutely 0 AI usage is permitted and WILL be checked throughout your portfolio.
MUST be 17+ to apply.
All submissions MUST be SFW.
LINK directly to a portfolio containing COMPLETED work!
Portfolios CAN be social media, as long as submitted links go DIRECTLY to your artwork.
If you are using Google Drive links please have sharing ON!

Word count should range from 2k to 4k, but do not exceed more than that.
If you have a longer piece you would like to include, please submit a sample that is 4k words or less.

You are welcome to submit more than one cosplay.
We will only be accepting Superman and Superman adjacent cosplayers/cosplays, so we encourage you to submit content of any and all DC cosplays that fall under that umbrella.

Photos featuring Superman and Superman adjacent figures will be prioritized! We want to see how you work with these characters.

FAQ
Our Look Up! Superman Zine will be a physical / digital Zine! It will be SFW and contain art, comics, and writing featuring Superman several other DC/DCU characters closely related to Superman!
What is the minimum age to apply as a contributor?
You must be 17+ to apply.
Will the zine focus solely on the Superman 2025 film?
While it may be heavily featured, we aim to cover all kinds of storylines surrounding Superman!
Is this zine exclusively focused on Superman/Clark Kent? Or is it all things Superman? (ex: villains, Daily Planet, Superboy, Superwoman, etc.)
Would love to add a bit of everything surrounding him and his alliances and nemesis.
As long as illustrations, fics, and merch have him included as the main POI then it's okay!
Who are the current moderators, and where can we find them?
We are working on a tab specifically to show off our mods!
Will other characters outside the main cast of Superman appear in the zine? (Batfam, Justice League, etc.)
Yes! We aim to keep Superman as our main star, but we definitely would love to sprinkle in his closest companions! (Referring to our interest check for popular requests!)
Are contributors expected to have large amounts of DC work in their application in order to be considered?

How many contributors are you looking to accept?
We are looking for around 20–30 contributors! If enough interest is garnered, then we will expand our search!

Hello! I’m grapes, I’m an illustrator and graphic designer! I fell in love with Superman when I first saw MAWS—it was when I realized this was the type of Superman I liked!
